Hello Everyone! Pastor Russ here with (hopefully) an encouraging word to share. Over the last year, we have experienced such an awesome move of God and the "coming together of His people, even in the midst of the outbreak of the covid pandemic. I do believe that the virus is real and that it has taken lives and caused immeasurable damage to many others... however, I believe even MORE that the grace, peace and healing power of God goes beyond any of those experiences. We must make it a point to not be afraid or dismayed by what we see in front us, but rather walk in complete faith and trust in the plan that we don't (readily) see. God has always had a people and an extreme love for them (us). I have seen, as well as experienced personally, His promise of never leaving or forsaking us.
I encourage you all to continue (safely) entering into the place of worship with the rest of the family of God. Despite the fear of the unknown or the potential to maybe be effected by the virus or any other weapon that may form against us. Hebrews 10:25 tells us " not to forsake the assembling of ourselves ( believers) together, as is the manner or some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the DAY approaching." NKJV. This not simply a command to make sure we meet together, it is a declaration from Heaven reminding us that in meeting together as the body of Christ, we remove ourselves from the calamities of the world and the sin thereof and are being made whole by the presence of the Spirit of the Living God. Being assembled to one place and one mind to be able to encourage one another in the testimony of the Lord!
